On Tuesday, Westbury National held its first IMAGINE technology showcaseat The Carlu in downtown Toronto. The elegant venue hosted 35 exhibitors showing off their latest wares in lighting, effects, video, audio, and more.
Featured in the AV Zone were the ultra-narrow bezel videowalls, 4K and laser projectors and 2.5mm LED panels from Christie Digital, LG, NEC, Panasonic, and Sharp.
Visitors were able to compare wireless presentation systems from six different manufacturers as well as electronic whiteboards and touch screens, wired and wireless touchpanels, and digital signage software and hardware. Some of these audiovisual exhibitors included Crestron, Extron, SVSi, Kramer, InFocus, Middle Atlantic, Mersive, Element One, Vaddio, Cody, and Barco
Audio professionals heard Meyer’s CAL32 steerable array loudspeaker live in the large Carlu Concert Hall venue as well as digital consoles from Avid, Digico, Soundcraft, and Yamaha. Other audio exhibitors included Biamp, BSS, ClearOne, QSC, and Rane alongside loudspeakers from d&b, Fulcrum, JBL, Shure, Listen Technology, and Tannoy.
All the professional stage and performance lighting manufacturers were located in the Carlu Concert Hall. There was the latest from Ayrton, ClayPaky, High End Systems, Martin, Robe, Vari-Lite, Avo, GrandMA, and Hog.
