Lighthouse Technologies Ltd. has announced the formation of a strategic partnership with SF Marketing Inc. (SFM) to distribute its line of LED video display solutions in Canada.
Under this arrangement, SFM will be representing Lighthouse’s DuoLED products and working with Lighthouse on further developing the Canadian market for two other products segments: the VideoBlades series of products and the Impact products for fixed installations. Continue reading

MDG has announced that it has been appointed the Canadian distribution partner for the entire Anolis range of architectural lighting products.
Anolis, the architectural division of Robe Lighting for whom MDG has recently become exclusive Canadian distributor, provides LED lighting solutions for indoor and outdoor architectural applications, including buildings, bridges, spaces, and public arts.

Christie has appointed the newest member to its Canadian sales team. Marc Laliberté has joined the company as the Eastern Regional Sales Manager for the Business and Display Products group.
In this role, Laliberté will be working with the dealer channel focusing on Christie LCD, 1-chip DLP, and 3-chip DLP projection systems, Christie 3D products, and Christie Nitro Solutions. Lex Products has made a new appointment to lead sales efforts in Canada as Graham Likeness assumes the role of National Sales Manager.
Based in Toronto, Likeness will be responsible for Canadian sales to entertainment, industrial, military, and government customers. Lightfair International (LFI) is reporting its 2012 show, taking place May 7-11, 2012 in Las Vegas, is 99 per cent sold out of exhibitor space. Returning to the west coast after its record-breaking 2011 performance at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia, PA, LFI, an annual architectural and commercial lighting trade show and conference, is on track to expand its exhibitor base and featured pavilions across more than 200,000 sq. ft. of trade show floor space. Solotech has announced the expansion of its Ottawa sales office as part of its commitment to offer increased services to its clients in the National Capital Region (NCR). The official grand opening of the new office was on Friday, December 9, 2011 and was presided by Solotech’s president, Denis Lefrançois.
Ottawa was the logical next step in Solotech’s expansion, which has recently seen the acquisition of Colorado based Audio Analysts whose operation was subsequently moved to Solotech’s Las Vegas location.
