Rosco’s has announced its acquisition of the film, television, and broadcast LED specialist company DMG Lumière.
DMG Lumière was founded in Lyon, France in 2014. “DMG Lumière is the perfect partner as we look to grow our business, and we’re delighted to welcome them into the Rosco family,” said Rosco CEO Mark Engel.

The Best of BEIT is launching at the NAB Show New York with a track of sessions highlighting outstanding research and timely presentations initially featured at the flagship Broadcast Engineering and Information Technology (BEIT) Conference, held at the annual NAB Show in Las Vegas. Best of BEIT will take place from October 18-19 during the 2017 NAB Show New York at the Javits Convention Center.
Werrett brings with her over 15 years of marketing experience and comes to A.C. Lighting from TOA Canada Corporation, a commercial audio and intercom manufacturer, where she held the role of marketing coordinator. Werrett has experience developing brands via, product launches, website and social media, as well as marketing collateral materials and direct marketing channels. She also has experience with strategic planning, including the marketing department, all advertising campaigns, training initiatives and related marketing projects. Prior to TOA, Kyla was marketing coordinator for Winter’s Instruments.
Werrett will be responsible for the implementation of A.C. Lighting’s North American marketing strategy, plans and programs. She will be working on developing North American presence via publications, tradeshow (event) development and implementation, and developing strategic marketing plans to achieve corporate objectives.
A.C. Lighting has announced the appointment of Dorothy Brennan as vice president of human resources.
Brennan is A.C. Lightings’ fourth high-profile hire in recent months. According to the company, her hire comes at an appropriate time, as A.C. Lightings is positioned for exponential growth within the coming months.
Brennan brings over 20 years of direct experience and comes to A.C. Lightings from Canadian General Tower Limited where she held the position of VP of human resources. Prior to Canadian General Tower, Brennan was the director of human resources at RM2 Canada Inc.
As VP of human resources, Brennan will support the growth of the company, employing her skills with organizational policies and procedures, employee benefit design, performance management and talent acquisition.
Pelletier is a 30 year veteran in the performance lighting industry working for industry leaders, most recently Martin Professional in the role of solution manager. Bringing with him extensive experience working with key brands, Pelletier has been an integral asset in brand development and marketing. He has worked closely with product development, sales, marketing and technical support to develop products, as well as to promote and sell these products within the lighting marketplace.
Westbury National has announced the date and location for this year’s edition of the Imagine technology showcase. The third annual showcase of AV, conferencing, entertainment, and performance technologies will be held at the Royal Conservatory of Music at 272 Bloor St. W. in downtown Toronto.
