Now in its 30th year, LDI will host over 13,000 attendees working in theatre, concerts, clubs, theme parks, houses of worship, and a wide range of international live and broadcast venues. More than 350 companies are set to exhibit this year, providing live demos and the opportunity for face-to-face discussions about their products and technologies.

Lightfair International (LFI) is set to return to Chicago’s McCormick Place from May 6-10. The pre-conference Lightfair Institute runs May 6-7 while the trade show and conference runs from May 8-10.

LFI is the world’s largest annual architectural and commercial lighting trade show and conference and the 2018 trade show floor will produce its largest footprint in its history. A.C. Lighting Hires Marketing Project Manager

Werrett brings with her over 15 years of marketing experience and comes to A.C. Lighting from TOA Canada Corporation, a commercial audio and intercom manufacturer, where she held the role of marketing coordinator. Werrett has experience developing brands via, product launches, website and social media, as well as marketing collateral materials and direct marketing channels. She also has experience with strategic planning, including the marketing department, all advertising campaigns, training initiatives and related marketing projects. Prior to TOA, Kyla was marketing coordinator for Winter’s Instruments.

Werrett will be responsible for the implementation of A.C. Lighting’s North American marketing strategy, plans and programs. She will be working on developing North American presence via publications, tradeshow (event) development and implementation, and developing strategic marketing plans to achieve corporate objectives.

A.C. Lighting has announced the appointment of Dorothy Brennan as vice president of human resources.

Brennan is A.C. Lightings’ fourth high-profile hire in recent months. According to the company, her hire comes at an appropriate time, as A.C. Lightings is positioned for exponential growth within the coming months.

Brennan brings over 20 years of direct experience and comes to A.C. Lightings from Canadian General Tower Limited where she held the position of VP of human resources. Prior to Canadian General Tower, Brennan was the director of human resources at RM2 Canada Inc.

As VP of human resources, Brennan will support the growth of the company, employing her skills with organizational policies and procedures, employee benefit design, performance management and talent acquisition.
