Steve Kosters, CEO of Intellimix and AVL Media Group, has announced that industry veteran Andrew Hope has joined the company in the role of managing director for AVL. Hope comes to AVL after spending more than 25 years with GerrAudio Distribution.

Christie today announced that industry veteran Susie Beiersdorf has joined Christie as VP, Cinema Sales – Americas, while long-time Christie employee Dave Muscat has been promoted to VP, Sales, Enterprise Solutions – Americas. The two new positions are effective immediately and will report to Dale Miller, Executive Vice-President, Global Sales, for Christie.

Cosmic Truss has announced the appointment of Paul Saghbazarian as its new Sales Manager, who will be working directly with Cosmic Truss Brand Director, David Park.

Saghbazarian comes to Cosmic Truss from areas outside of the industry, but with a knowledge and understanding of the entertainment industry from earlier experience, according to the company. He will begin immediately working with existing customers, strengthening the level of support and service that Cosmic Truss offers. As the brand grows, Saghbazarian will be a key link in expanding the Cosmic Truss Sales channels in areas where the company sees potential to expand.

SGM Appoints David Keighley as Executive VP

SGM has announced the appointment of David Keighley as its new executive vice president. Keighley has worked as a lighting designer, tour manager, and production manager as well as management experience as executive vice president and chief of operations for Syncrolite, managing director and CEO of PRG Europe, and managing director of light and sound design. Keighley has been involved with the Olympic Games (1992, 1996, 2000, 2004 and 2012) and worked with artists such as Madonna, Rolling Stones, Spice Girls, Billy Joel, Pink Floyd, Deep Purple etc.

Keighley’s primary area of responsibility as EVP will be to work with and support designers and architects to ensure the right equipment for the job. He will be based in the U.K., but will be travelling to oversee global activities for SGM.
