Date & Location Revealed for Westbury National’s 3rd Imagine Technology Showcase

0XImagineWestbury National has announced the date and location for this year’s edition of the Imagine technology showcase. The third annual showcase of AV, conferencing, entertainment, and performance technologies will be held at the Royal Conservatory of Music at 272 Bloor St. W. in downtown Toronto. The event will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2017 from 2-8 p.m. ET.

Imagine will bring together professionals who works with, support, or are passionate about audiovisual, conferencing, entertainment, or performance technologies. It offers an opportunity to connect directly with key manufacturers and industry experts, while seeing, touching, and testing the latest hardware, software, and other solutions.

ETC Brings End Users to Wisconsin for Fourth CUE Conference

ETC-CUE-programmingOn July 20th, nearly 250 ETC end users arrived in Madison, WI, for the fourth CUE conference. CUE, short for Create Understand Experience, is a professional development conference hosted by ETC every other summer.

This year’s classes were organized into one- and two-day-long tracks so attendees would have a more immersive, educational experience. Tracks focused on technicians, educators, general system networking, designing a better theater, and Eos console programming. The typical daily class schedule was enhanced this summer with optional Saturday evening classes.

CITT/ICTS Ready for Rendez-vous 2017 in Saint John

01 Rendez-vousRendez-vous 2017, CITT/ICTS’s annual trade show and conference, will be heading to the Imperial Theatre and Saint John Theatre Company in Saint John, NB from Aug. 9-12.

This year’s event will feature a similar schedule to that which was introduced last year. The trade show will have visiting hours over a two-day span on Thursday and Friday. The new Product Show ‘n Tell Breakfast will kick off the Thursday morning with a Corporate Luncheon to follow. Thursday night will feature the always-popular Swag Bingo. Friday will feature the Ladies of the Backstage Happy Hour and Saturday will be the Caucus Plenary Breakfast and CITT/ICTS Awards Banquet in the evening. The annual general meeting will return to an AGM Luncheon on Saturday.

InfoComm Show Experience 14% Attendance Increase

LFI 2017 was Largest Trade Show to Date & Broke Philadelphia Registration Record

ADD1 LFILightfair International (LFI) set all-new records at the Pennsylvania Convention Center from May 7-11 with the largest trade show floor and largest Philadelphia registration highlighting its 2017 performance.

ESTA Announces New Alliance with NAMM for 2018 Show

The Entertainment Services and Technology Association (ESTA) has announced an alliance with the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) to work with them in expanding the NAMM Show to include a special focus on the live event technology community. The show annually welcomes more than 100,000 professional attendees from 139 countries.

This opportunity was made possible by the addition of a new building coming online at the Anaheim Convention Center, where the show is held every January. The additional space will allow The 2018 NAMM Show to offer the event technology industry a diverse show floor, robust professional education, and a series of relevant networking events.
