William F. White has announced that its 15th annual of February Freeze show will be held Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2016 at the William F. White Centre (800 Islington Ave.), which is the largest production support complex in Toronto. The show will be open from 3-8 p.m. This annual pre-NAB technology showcase is known for bringing together production professionals with the latest innovations and technologies.
The Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE) has announced that the newly crafted NAB Show’s ‘The Future of Cinema Conference: The Immortal Movie,’ produced in partnership with SMPTE, will explore how content creators and storytellers combine artistry with motion-imaging technology to thrive now and into the future. Scheduled for April 16-17 during the 2016 NAB Show, the refocused technical conference will examine this topic with an emphasis on the work and inspiration of the industry’s newest generation of filmmakers. Registration for the conference opens on Dec. 21.

LDI Show 2015 organizers have released some details for the upcoming LDInnovation & Technology Conference, which features three days of sessions on the issues important to the lighting, production, and staging industry. The 2015 LDI Show will be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center from Oct. 19-25. The conference portion will be held from Oct. 19th to 25th and the exhibition portion will run from the 23rd to 25th.
On Sept. 1st and 2nd, AMX Canada and Techni+Contact we will be launching the second leg of their cross-Canada product conferences near Montreal to showcase all their commercial lines.
