William F. White International has announced the return of its yearly technology showcase, The February Freeze. Now in its 14th year, this pre-NAB exhibit, known for bringing together some of the brightest minds in the business with the latest innovations and technologies, will return to Toronto’s largest production support complex, William F. White Centre, on Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2015, from 4-8 p.m.
The Canadian DJ Show presented by Pioneer DJ is returning to Toronto in 2015 and organizers say it will be the largest CDJ Show yet. Taking place March 13-15, 2015, a third day of events and activities has been scheduled and several guest speakers and performers from across the globe have been added in addition to more exhibitors.
The venue for the 2015 show is the Hilton Toronto at Richmond and University, in the heart of downtown. It is a large venue with space to accommodate more exhibits, special features, and guests.
This year’s ride has been dubbed “Cruzin’ the Ozarks, The Dozenth’ Year.” Riders will gather in Nashville, TN, ride down the bucolic Natchez Trace toward the Ozark Mountains in Arkansas and Missouri and then circle back and pass through the Land Between the Lakes on their return to Nashville. The route will feature day rides venturing deep into the Ozarks, departing from picturesque Petit Jean State Park. Experienced riders know these roads as some of the best riding in the country, including the ‘Pig Trail Parkway,’ ‘Ozark Dragon,’ and the ‘Arkansas Grand Canyon’.
Detail are beginning to emerge for LIGHTFAIR International (LFI) 2015, which will run May 3-7 in New York’s Javits Center. The 26th staging of the world’s largest annual architectural and commercial lighting trade show and conference will see an expanded trade show floor showcasing more than 500 exhibiting companies presenting the industry’s newest products and technologies to an expansive attendee population of lighting designers, specifiers, architects, consultants, and engineers from around the world. LFI 2015 category expansions include alternative energy, solar power, software, exterior and roadway, digital signage, healthcare, and hospitality.
PLASA Events has announced that it will be making its first trip to the mid-west for PLASA Focus: Kansas City 2015. This will be the second PLASA Focus event to occur in 2015, and will take place on Wednesday, May 20 and Thursday, May 21, 2015 at the Kansas City Convention Center.

Online registration is now open for IIDEX Canada 2014, the design and architecture conference and expo being held in Toronto on Dec. 3-4, 2014. The location for the event is Metro Toronto Convention Centre North.
