CDJ Show Expecting Greater Turnout For Third Year

Thursday, December 8th, 2011

The 2012 Canadian DJ Show (CDJ Show) will be held March 17-18, 2012 at the Doubletree by Hilton Toronto Airport. The show is expected to grow yet again in its third year, thanks to this new and larger venue’s ability to accommodate more exhibitors and guests.

As with previous years, the CDJ Show will cater to both aspiring and seasoned professional DJs, with a balanced emphasis on new products and services in the industry and professional development through seminars, panels, training sessions, and Q&As with product specialists.

“DJing has become more than just the act of playing music for the masses; it has become a lifestyle for many people across the world,” says Ryan Schroeyens, CDJ Show Founder. “The Canadian DJ Show is the premiere event for DJs and producers in Canada. It is a time and place where all of the industry professionals and aspiring up-and-comers can come together to network, learn, and grow in the Canadian DJ community,” continues Schroeyens. “Music production has become an essential tool for many popular DJs and allows them to generate demand for their DJ and production services; therefore, we are further expanding its integration in the show.”

In addition to the variety of DJs that attend the show, exhibitors cater to other nightlife industry professionals including night club and special event venue owners, promoters, agents, and mobile DJ companies. The addition of the producer element to the show in 2010 further extends the target market by providing new products, information, and training for electronic and urban music producers.
