Lightfair International Broadens Educational Programming

This year’s educational program—a lineup of robust institute courses and conference seminars—adds more fresh content with the launch of the Design Symposia, which presents four 90-minute symposia designed to further inspire and educate lighting professionals from around the world.
Conference attendees will have the opportunity to learn from affiliated industry experts who are enthusiastic about lighting. The four design-related courses are presented by seasoned professionals from the architecture, landscape, interior and hospitality design community. The 2010 Design Symposia features, Changing the Orientation by 180° at 6500K with Ken Lewis (AIA, LEED AP) President of AC Martin; Lighting: The Most Important Aspect of Interior Design with Michael Bedner, Chairman and CEO of Hirsch Bedner Associates; Create Iconic Places: Lighting is a Big Player with Mark Rios (FASLA, FAIA), founding principal of Rios Clementi Hale Studios.
