The NAB Show will be returning to Las Vegas from April 22-27, 2017. It is the world’s largest electronic media show covering the creation, management, and delivery of content across all platforms. The theme for this year’s show is The M.E.T. Effect, meaning the intersection of media, entertainment, and technology, fueled by internet connectivity and integrated systems.
This year, the specialized exhibit areas include the Post-Production Campus, Virtual and Augmented Reality Pavilion, and the Futures Park, which features demonstrations of high-tech media developments in progress, prototypes, and products not yet available for sale from research laboratories in the United States and around the world.
A wide spectrum of educational seminars, presentations, and programs is planned, including Live Events and The M.E.T. Effect segment, which will host directors, producers, lighting and audio Technicians, stage managers, videographers, systems integrators, facility managers, and professionals delivering immersive experiences.
Spotlight sessions in the Live Events and the M.E.T. Effect segment include: A 360 Degree View of VR & Live Streaming; Making the Most of OTT; and Low-Latency OTT Delivery with CMAF chunks and HTTP/1.1 Chunked Transfer Encoding.
