Westbury to Host ‘Imagine’ Technology Showcase in Toronto

Westbury National will be hosting its first Imagine Technology Showcase at the Carlu event space in College Park in Toronto on April 28, 2015 from 2-7 p.m. Westbury describes Imagine as an “opportunity to see, touch, and interact with the latest innovations in audio, audiovisual, and lighting technology, and network with professionals from the pro audio, audiovisual and event industries.”

Over 30 exhibitors have been confirmed so far, including Christie Digital, AMX, Panasonic, Creston, Meyer Sound, and Avolites. The event will feature technology exhibits, as well as demonstrations, seminars, and speakers. Admission is free.

“We are very excited to be presenting this showcase for both our customers and for the industry,” says Frank Gerstein, Managing Director. “It’s an incredible opportunity to connect with industry innovators, get inspired by great ideas — and really see all the possibilities that are out there to help our customers achieve amazing experiences.”

The event will feature five speakers, including Paul Zielie, who is a widely respected expert in AV/IT integration practices and networked audiovisual systems. Cory Schaeffer, Co-Founder and VP of Listen Technologies, is a manufacturer of innovative products for assistive listening, interpretation and audio conferencing. Additional speakers will be announced in the coming weeks.
