According to CITT President Michael Harris, Winnipeg is the ideal city for the industry to congregate in the summer. “I am looking forward to Rendez-vous 2016 in such a culturally diverse city,” he tells Professional Lighting & Production. “The Royal Winnipeg Ballet is Canada’s oldest dance company. It’s also the longest continuously operating ballet company in North America. The Winnipeg Art Gallery has the biggest collection of contemporary Inuit art in the world and Canada’s newest national museum – the Canadian Museum for Human Rights – is the first to be located outside of the Capital Region. I welcome you to come to Winnipeg and discover this amazing city and enjoy the 26th Rendez-vous. It’s all about connecting. Soyez branché!”
